Resumen de La importancia de la minería en el Plan Nacional del Patrimonio Industrial

El estudio analiza desde diferentes puntos de vista la relación entre el patrimonio industrial minero y el Plan Nacional de Patrimonio Industrial (PNPI). Para ello se hace una breve introducción a los Planes Nacionales de Patrimonio en general y al Plan Nacional de Patrimonio Industrial en particular, se analiza la historia y evolución de este último, se reflexiona sobre el marco temporal que trata de abarcar y las circunstancias socioeconómicas de España durante el mismo. Se revisan desde un punto de vista cuantitativo los diversos catálogos recogidos en este Plan Nacional después de intento de definir el patrimonio minero como un subconjunto del patrimonio industrial. Por último, se enumeran las intervenciones más importantes realizadas sobre el patrimonio minero y dentro del marco del Plan, destacando el papel desempeñado por el Instituto de Patrimonio Cultural Español (IPCE). Se hace una mención especial a los trabajos realizados en las Minas de Almadén, que se vinculan con el propio origen del PNPI.

The study analyzes the relationship between the mining-industrial heritage and the National Plan for Industrial Heritage. For that purpose the topics of National Plans for Heritage and, in more detail, the National Plan for Industrial Heritage are introduced briefly. With respect to this last National Plan its history, evolution and specific time frame are reviwed; and a reflection on the socio-economic circumstances of Spain during that period is carried out. A quantitative aproach of the successive catalogs of this National Plan are included. Finally, the most important interventions carried out on the mining heritage within the National Plan frame are enumerated, highlighting the role played by the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute. Special mention is made of the works executed in the Almadén Mines and its influence on the origin of the Plan.
