Resumen de Formación ciudadana e historia: un estudio de caso en un centro educativo de Viña del Mar (Chile)

  En este artículo presentaremos un experimento docente realizado en el contexto de una investigación acerca de la formación de percepciones políticas y sociales a través de la enseñanza escolar de la Historia. En el experimento se desarrolla en una asignatura optativa de formación ciudadana, donde habitualmente se impartían conocimientos cívicos (leyes, normativas jurídicas, etc.). El propósito de este experimento-investigación será analizar el contexto educacional alrededor de esta asignatura y las percepciones de los estudiantes ante un cambio de paradigma formativo radical. Finalmente, veremos como nos importará tanto el qué y el cómo de nuestro experimento docente; de como el desarrollo del pensamiento y la imaginación histórica en el aula genera mayores libertades cognitivas que un conocimiento riguroso y dogmático de leyes y normativas, sobre todo de cara a una formación ciudadana más reflexiva y crítica.

  In this article we will present a teaching experiment carried out in the context of an investigation about the formation of political and social perceptions through the school teaching of History. In the experiment, it is developed in an elective subject of citizenship training, where civic knowledge (laws, legal regulations, etc.) were usually taught. The purpose of this research experiment will be to analyze the educational context around this subject and the students' perceptions in the face of a radical formative paradigm shift. Finally, we will see how we will care so much about the what and how of our teaching experiment; of how the development of thought and historical imagination in the classroom generates greater cognitive freedoms than a rigorous and dogmatic knowledge of laws and regulations, especially with a view to a more reflective and critical citizen education.
