Resumen de Los míticos cañones de Víctor Gorzo

En este ensayo deseamos puntualizar e intentar clarificar algunos datos erróneos que se vienen repitiendo sistemáticamente en las obras de distintos autores hasta el día de hoy, referentes al periodo del Alzamiento Popular del 28 de septiembre de 1868, en Béjar, contra el gobierno de la reina Isabel II de Borbón. En él, pretendemos aportar datos y sugerencias de algunas correcciones a la histo- riografía, referentes al tema de la fabricación y utilización de los míticos cañones y de la personalidad del propio Víctor Gorzo.

In this essay we intend to highlight and clarify some erroneous concepts and details that are systematically repeated in the texts of different authors until today, referring to the period of the Popular Uprising of September 28, 1868, in Béjar (Salamanca, Spain) against the government of Queen Elizabeth II of Bourbon. In it, we also intend to provide suggestions and some corrections to the actual histo- riography, referring the manufacture and use of the mythical cannon and the personality of Víctor Gorzo himself.
