Resumen de Estructura y dinámica actual del glaciar de La Paul (Pirineos): Aplicación de Laser Escaner y Georadar

• The La Paul glacier is one of the last remaining glaciers in the Pyrenees. Laser Scanner and GPR techniques were applied in order to determine its internal structure and current glacial dynamic. The GPR survey carried out in 2010 yielded a maximum 20 m depth and three different glacial layers. Laser Scanner measurements taken in 2010 and 2011 show that present-day changes in La Paul glacier are characterised by limited snow accumulation and increasing thinning.
