Resumen de Tipología de formas graníticas en el tramo medio del río Miño (Ourense, Galicia, NW del Macizo Ibérico)

E. De Uña Álvarez, Miguel Ángel Álvarez Vázquez, R. Rodríguez

  • River channels on granite rock are affecting by continuous change linked to the regional structure, the base-level history, the variability of turbulent flows and the discontinuities set. The morphological properties of the forms in these channels show the dynamic pathways from the erosive processes. This work has been developed in a reach of the Miño river (Galicia, NW of Iberian Massif). The Miño river flow in Ourense lands on granite rock, with an ENE-WSW general direction, between several residual surfaces (mean elevation 400 m). The Reza station (RS) and the Chavasqueira-Outariz station (CS) are located in a recent level of fluvial erosion (100 m a.s.l.), hollow out in bedrock channel. The typology of 146 erosive forms reflects the magnitude/deepness of processes which are related to the discontinuities system.
