  • Resumen
    • The Picos de Europa high mountain (Cantabrian Mountain) is characterized by the nivoperiglacial environment and the most important processes are nivation, related to the snowcover changes and snow avalanches, karst and periglacial. Debris talus and cones are active landforms widespread in the massif. The aim of this work is to know the participants processes in the debris transfer from the walls and talus (snow avalanches, nivation, debris flow, fall and frost) and to estimate the movement and deformation of debris talus and cones in the calcareous high mountain of Cantabrian Mountain . In “La Vueltona” from 2009 to 2013 have been made annual surveys with the Total Station IS “Imaging Station”. This instrument permits to do scanner to more than 1 km distance. The obtained data permit us to know the surface changes and deformations on cones and talus with a positional error of ± 5 cm.
