Resumen de Trânsitos imagéticos: a reconfiguração da velhice feminina no cinema brasileiro contemporâneo

  This article aims to establish a relationship between gender studies, cinema and representations regarding the female starring aging processes in contemporary Brazilian cinema. The corpus of the analysis posted to this article falls into three feature films that have the same characteristics in common: a) were produced in the same decade; b) are representatives of the new Brazilian cinema; c) have international awards and commercial success and d) have the old age and the female aging process as the main theme of the narrative argument. For this question, the following films were selected: Stop Missing (2008) Lais Bodanszky, Durval Records (2002) Ana Muylaert e Across the Road (across the Street; 2004) Mark Bernstein.   Este artigo tem como objetivo estabelecer uma relação entre os estudos de gênero, cinema e imaginário no cinema ficcional contemporâneo brasileiro. O corpus da análise fílmica destacado para este artigo recai em três filmes de longa metragem que têm em comum as seguintes características: a) foram produzidos na mesma década; b) são representantes da nova cinematografia brasileira; c) possuem premiações internacionais e sucesso comercial e d) têm a velhice e os processos de envelhecimento feminino como principal mote do argumento narrativo. Para esta questão, os seguintes filmes foram selecionados: Chega de Saudades (2008) Lais Bodanszky, Durval Discos (2002) Ana Muylaert e Outro Lado da Rua (2004) de Mark Bernstein. Observa-se um crescimento do protagonismo feminino nos filmes dedicados a temática do envelhecimento feminino, que remetem a novos imaginários e formas de vivencia dos afetos e da conformação da imagem e identidade feminina da mulher madura.
