  • Coolhunting, a mechanism essentially from the development of marketing, has been used since the 1980s to forecast customer trends and to improve the actions of firms. Taking into account the importance of marketing developments on the behaviour of organizations in the new information era, the aim of this paper is to analyze the term and to study the application of Coolhunting in education. Hence, the paper studies and defines Coolhunting, analyzes its emergence, development and the influences that characterize these processes and the new advances in the subject, and concentrates on the use of Coolhunting in education. The article explore and evaluates possible uses of Coolhunting in education, and relates some cases of possible uses to improve the teaching and learning processes in diverse areas of education.
