• Modesto Bargalló was a profesor of the "Escuela Normal de Maestros" in Guadalajara. He contributed to renewing the pedagogic scenario in Spain previous 1939, both through his personal actuation and through many papers. Less Know, however, are his contributions to the geological knowledge of the Alcarria, mainly as short notes to the Real Sociedad Española de Historia Natural.
