Resumen de Consideraciones sobre la puesta en valor del patrimonio industrial en el destino Santiago de Cuba

  Se presenta un análisis sobre la puesta en valor del patrimonio industrial en el destino Santiago de Cuba. La metodología aplicada fue la investigación cualitativa a través del análisis, la síntesis y la observación científica. Además, fueron aplicadas entrevistas a directivos de la Delegación del Ministerio del Turismo, con el propósito de diagnosticar el estado de la gestión del turismo industrial.

  Como resultado se establecieron los fundamentos teóricos-prácticos referenciales sobre turismo industrial y planificación turística, se enfatizó en la importancia de la planificación turística en espacios turísticos industriales en Cuba y se explicitó acerca de la planificación turística en el destino Santiago de Cuba y la puesta en valor de su patrimonio industrial. Se propuso un procedimiento para el diseño del plan de desarrollo para el turismo industrial en el destino Santiago de Cuba que contribuya a la diversificación de la oferta local y al logro de un destino más competitivo.

  An analysis is presented on the enhancement of the industrial heritage in the destination Santiago de Cuba. The applied methodology was qualitative research through analysis, synthesis and scientific observation. Interviews were also applied to executives of the Delegation of the Ministry of Tourism, in order to diagnose the state of industrial tourism management. As a result, the theoreticalpractical referential foundations on industrial tourism and tourism planning were established, the importance of tourism planning in industrial tourism spaces in Cuba was emphasized and it was made explicit about tourism planning in the destination Santiago de Cuba and the implementation value of its industrial heritage. A procedure was proposed for the design of the development plan for industrial tourism in the Santiago de Cuba destination that contributes to the diversification of the local offer and the achievement of a more competitive destination.
