  • O estudo confronta duas realidades muito próximas: a inculturação da fé e o sincretismo religioso. Primeiramente se esclarece o sentido do sincretismo numa perspectivafenomenológiccL Em seguida, se expõe como as religiões, e tam¬bém o cristianismo, estão sujeitos a transformações em sua configuração, devido aos diferentes contextos onde se encontram, inclusive também devido à proximi¬dade com outras tradições religiosas. Segue-se então a avaliação propriamente teológica do fenômeno sincretista, visto então como etapa do pióprio processo de inculturação da fé. O aitigo conclui com reflexões de cunho pastoralAbstract: The study confronts two very close realities: inculturation offaith and religious syncretism. Firstly, the meaning of syncretism is clarified in a phenomenological perspective. Following this, it is shown how reli- gions, as well as Christianity, are subject to transformations in their con- figuration, due to the different contexts in wltich they are found, including the proximity to other religious traditions. Then, following this, a proper evaluation thoroughly theological of the syncretistic phenomenon, seen thusly as a stage in the process itself of inculturation of faith. The article ends with reflections of a pastoral nature.
