    Este trabajo trata sobre el estudio del Patrimonio Minero Industrial, concretamente el de la Cuenca Minera de Riotinto, situada al Este de Ia provincia de Huelva y en la frontera con la de Sevilla, en la Faja Pirítica lbérica. Una vez tratado el concepto de Patrimonio Industrial y el marco cronológico que abarca de 1725 a 1970. Hemos visto que durante estos 245 aflos la actividad minera y metalúrgica, además de todos los servicios necesarios para el buen desarrollo de las operaciones mineras se crearon una gran cantidad de edificios industriales y bienes muebles, dispersos por un amplio territorio. Para poder estudiarlos, al estar ubicados en una zona extensa con diferentes características, diferente grado de conservación y perteneces a diferentes procesos elaboramos un sistema, que se basa en dividir el territorio en zonas, pues cada una de ellas tuvo un uso industrial diferente, y los items por temas, asi podemos comprender desde su ubicacion en el territorio a la evolución tecnológica de los procesos.

    The purpose of thfs paper is to research the industrial Mining Heritage, specifically that of the Riotinto Mlning bowl, located east of the province of Huelva and on the border with Seville, in the Iberian Pyrite Belt. We have seen that during these 245 years the mining and metallurgical activity, in addibon to all the services necessary for the proper development of mining operations, created a targe number of industrial buildings and movables, sœttersd over a wido territory To be able to study them, being located in an extensive area with different characteristics, different degree of conservation and belonging to different processes we elaborate a system, which is based on dividing the territory into zones, since each of them had a different industrial use, and the items by themes. so we can understand from their location In the territory to the technological evolution of the processes.
