En este trabajo se analizan los problemas textuales y editoriales que contiene el testimonio más completo de la traducción castellana del Decameron: el incunable aparecido en Sevilla (1496). Su estudio revela nuevos detalles sobre la traducción perdida, permite aclarar algunas ideas que no han sido bien planteadas por la crítica y sugerir ciertas hipótesis sobre su transmisión textual.

This paper presents the textual and editorial problems that the most complete testimony of the Castilian translation of the Decameron has: the printed version that appeared in Seville (1496). His study shows new details about the lost translation, allows us to clarify some ideas that have not been well raised by critics and to suggest certain hypotheses of their textual transmission.
