Resumen de Diversificación agrícola para el enfrentamiento al cambio climático en el Municipio de Consolación del Sur

  La investigación se desarrolló en una finca agropecuaria del municipio de Consolación del Sur. El problema fundamental fue: insuficientes medidas de adaptación para el enfrentamiento al cambio climático. El objetivo general fue diversificar la producción agrícola. El proceso investigativo se fundamentó en el cumplimiento de tres etapas, en cada una de ellas, se utilizaron los métodos teóricos y empíricos. Los principales resultados fueron: la caracterización agroproductiva de la finca, un resumen descriptivo del agroecosistema antes del paso del huracán de elevada intensidad por la localidad, los resultados de la entrevista semi-estructurada a ocho productores con experiencia durante el estudio exploratorio, evaluación de indicadores básicos para el enfrentamiento al cambio climático, comportamiento de las condiciones climáticas, los riesgos y vulnerabilidades para el enfrentamiento al cambio climático, desarrollo de un programa de capacitación y la propuesta y aplicación de un conjunto de alternativas vinculadas a la adaptación y mitigación. Las conclusiones fueron: el procedimiento metodológico utilizado en la investigación, permitió llegar a la determinación de los riesgos y vulnerabilidades de la finca para el enfrentamiento al cambio climático, ya partir, de la baja capacidad de resistencia a eventos climatológicos de la finca se procedió a la propuesta y aplicación de un conjunto de alternativas vinculadas a la adaptación y mitigación. Estas contribuyeron a un rediseño y a la vez, a la diversificación de la producción agrícola.

  The investigation was developed in an agricultural property of the municipality of Consolación of the Sur. The fundamental problem was: insufficient measures of adaptation for the confrontation to the climatic change. The general objective was to diversify the agricultural production. The investigative process was based in the execution of three stages, in each one of them, the theoretical and empiric methods were used. The main results were: the characterization agroproductiva of the property, a descriptive summary of the agroecosystem before the step of the hurricane of high intensity for the town, the results of the interview semi structured at eight producing with experience during the exploratory study, evaluation of basic indicators for the confrontation to the climatic change, behavior of the climatic conditions, the risks and vulnerabilities for the confrontation to the climatic change, I develop of a training program and the proposal and application of a group of alternatives linked to the adaptation and mitigation. The conclusions were: the methodological procedure used in the investigation, allowed to arrive to the determination of the risks and vulnerabilities of the property for the confrontation to the climatic change, and to leave, of the drop resistance capacity to climatologically events of the property you proceeded to the proposal and application of a group of alternatives linked to the adaptation and mitigation. These contributed to an I redraw and at the same time, to the diversification of the agricultural production.
