Resumen de A Galerkin approach for a class of elliptic—parabolic problems arising in current—carrying Stellarators
We consider a 2D free—boundary model arising in the transient regime of a magnetically confined plasma in a Stellarator device with current carrying inside of each magnetic surfaces. The model is formulated in terms of a nonlinear elliptic—parabolic problem. The aim of this work, is to study the existence of solutions, by using a Galerkin type argument, for a family of problems approaching the original problem.
