    El trabajo aborda un capítulo poco estudiado de la saga de jóvenes estudiantes latinoamericanos por fortalecer las bases del antimperialismo y las luchas obreras en América Latina. En agosto de 1936, en la ciudad de Guadalajara, se efectuó el Congreso Iberoamericano de Estudiantes Socialistas que creo la Confederación de Estudiantes Socialistas de Indo América, CEADA, que existió entre 1936 y 1939. En esta cita confluyeron estudiantes de varios países del continente para crear un frente de lucha antiimperialista y antifascista ante el avance de las políticas intervencionistas de Estados Unidos y del fascismo en el mundo occidental. El artículo analiza los elementos ideológicos y políticos que se jugaron en ese contexto y los efectos que tuvo entre los jóvenes políticos que se reunieron en la cita continental.

    The work addresses an almost unknown chapter in the saga of young Latin American students to strengthen the foundations of anti-imperialism and workers' struggles in Latin America. In August 1936, in the Mexican city of Guadalajara, the Ibero-American Congress of Socialist Students was held, which created the Confederation of Socialist Students of Indo America, CEADA, which existed between 1936 and 1939. At this meeting students from various countries of the continent converged to create an antiimperialist and anti-fascist front of struggle against the advance of the interventionist policies of the United States and of fascism in the Western world. The article analyzes the ideological and political elements that were played out in this context and the effects it had on the young politicians who gathered at the continental event.
