    La espera, la falta de información y las deficiencias de pequeñas cosas materiales son las caras de un sistema sanitario rico en técnicas de última generación y en excelentes profesionales con formación de alta calidad que a día de hoy son reclamados por otros sistemas sanitarios.

    La falta de tiempo, la falta de coordinación dentro del mismo sistema, genera descontento y una visión negativa que con pequeñas intervenciones generarían un gran beneficio y un gran alivio entre los pacientes-usuarios-clientes... que llevan consigo en su espera la ansiedad, el miedo y la duda.

    Este es el Diario de Campo de una usuaria habitual del sistema sanitario, enfermera de profesión y estudiante de Antropología, defensora del sistema nacional de salud, que aporta desde su mirada una reflexión que busca la mejora y el respeto al otro.

    Long periods of waiting, lack of information, and deficiency of small physical objects are the face of our National Health System, a system which is abundant in both the latest techniques, and in excellent professionals who have benefitted from training of the highest quality, but who are currently being headhunted by other National Health Systems.

    The lack of time and the lack of coordination within the same system, generate dissatisfaction and a negative view, whereas with a little more attention we would be able to generate great benefits and provide enormous improvements for our patients - users - clients, all of whom suffer from feelings of anxiety, fear and doubt whilst they are waiting.

    This is the field study of a regular user of our health system, a nurse by profession, an anthropology student, and an ardent defender of the National Health System. It gives us an insight from her point of view and is written in the hope of achieving improvements and more respect for others.
