Resumen de Prevención y control del cáncer de piel en mujeres expuestas a radiacción ultravioleta

  Objetivo: Conocer los hábitos, precaucio-nes y control de las mujeres que se expo-nen a los rayos ultravioleta, así como la posibilidad de desarrollar cáncer de piel.Método: Revisión narrativa. Bases de datos consultadas: Pubmed, Cuiden y Scielo. Se incluyeron los artículos pu-blicados en español e inglés que plan-teaban testar la posible relación entre la exposición a radiación ultravioleta y la prevención, control y desarrollo de cán-cer de piel en mujeres.Resultados: Se identificaron 72 artículos con objetivos e hipótesis que planteaban testar la relación entre los rayos ultravio-leta y el cáncer de piel en mujeres, de los cuales se incluyeron 11.Conclusiones: La población estudiada es consciente de los riesgos de exposición excesiva al sol y de prevención del cán-cer de piel, pero aún no ha incorporado medidas adecuadas de protección solar en sus hábitos diarios.
