  Introducción: Los pacientes que se someten a este tipo de prueba diagnóstica, verbalizan un nivel de ansiedad suficientemente importante como para que el personal de enfermería deba realizar intervenciones para reducirlo.

  Objetivos: Describir las intervenciones de la consulta de enfermería de diagnóstico por la imagen en este tipo de prueba diagnóstica.Evaluar la utilidad de la intervención enfermera.

  Metodología: Para describir las intervenciones de la consulta de enfermería, nos hemos basado en un documento-guía.Resultados:a) Se han valorado hasta la fecha 30 pacientes.b) El nivel de ansiedad inicial antes de la intervención enfermera ha sido de un 5,8 sobre 10 (siendo 10 = ansiedad máxima y 0 = no ansiedad).c) El nivel de ansiedad final tras la intervención enfermera ha sido de un 1,4 sobre 10.d) Reducción del nivel de ansiedad en un 78% respecto al nivel inicial.

  Conclusiones: El papel de la consulta de enfermería de diagnóstico por la imagen en el proceso de atención de los pacientes citados para la linfogammagrafía para detección del ganglio centinela, es CLAVE para la reducción del nivel de ansiedad de dichos pacientes tal y como demuestran los resultados obtenidos.

  Introduction: Patients who undergo this type of diagnostic test verbalize a level of anxiety important enough for nursing staff to perform interventions to reduce it.

  Goals: Describe the interventions of the nursing consultation of diagnostic imaging in this type of diagnostic test.Evaluate the usefulness of the nursing intervention.

  Methodology: To describe the interventions of the nursing consultation, we have based ourselves on a guide-document.Results:a) 30 patients have been evaluated to date.b) The level of initial anxiety before the nursing intervention was 5.8 out of 10 (being 10 = maximum anxiety and 0 = no anxiety).c) The level of final anxiety after the nursing intervention was 1.4 out of 10.d) Reduction of anxiety level by 78% compared to the initial level.

  Conclusions: The role of the nursing consultation of diagnosis by the image in the process of care of the patients cited for lymphoscintigraphy for detection of the sentinel node is KEY to the reduction of the level of anxiety of these patients, as shown by the results obtained.
