  La granulomatosis eosinofílica con poliangeítis es un trastorno multisistémico caracterizado por rinosinusitis crónica, asma y eosinofilia prominente de sangre periférica.

  La clínica es muy variable; tienen principal predilección por el pulmón y la piel, pero puede afectar también a otros órganos.

  Para el diagnóstico se emplean tanto criterios clínicos como analíticos. Existen múltiples guías; la del American College of Rheumatology es la más empleada.

  El tratamiento puede requerir del uso de corticoides y ciclofosfamida inicialmente; puede emplearse metotrexate, lefluonamida, azatioprina o terapias biológicas

  Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a multisystemic disorder characterized by chronic rhinosinusitis, asthma, and prominent eosinophilia of peripheral blood.

  The clinic is very variable having a main predilection for the lung and the skin but may also affect other organs.

  Both clinical and analytical criteria are used for the diagnosis. There are multiple guides, with the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) being the most widely used.

  Treatment may require the use of corticosteroids and cyclophosphamide initially, and methotrexate, lefluonamide, azathioprine, or biological therapies may be used.
