    Este artículo presenta una propuesta de lectura exegético-teológica del texto de 1 Reyes 19, 1-18 a partir de la categoría movimiento. La dinámica polar entre movilidad e inmovilidad en las acciones de los dos protagonistas del relato, el profeta Elías y YHWH, su Dios, conducen al lector a descubrir la riqueza de un texto cargado del choque entre la enérgica fuerza divina con la estática debilidad humana. El movimiento mostrado en el relato va más allá del simple desplazamiento físico, sino que involucra esferas de mayor profundidad, sobre todo en el campo psicológico y espiritual. Partiendo de una lectura atenta del texto hebreo, se procede a identificar algunas estrategias narrativas que permitan hacer claridad sobre su mensaje final. La investigación se enriquece a través del diálogo con diversos exégetas contemporáneos, con el fin de hacer brillar el significado y la relevancia actual este relato.

    This paper presents an exegetical-theological read-ing proposal of the text of 1 Kings 19, 1-18 from the category of movement. The polar dynamics between mobility and immobility in the actions of the two main characters of the story, the prophet Elijah and YHWH, his God, lead the reader to discover the rich-ness of a text loaded with the clash between energetic divine strength and static human weakness. The shown movement in the story goes beyond simple physical displacement, but involves spheres of greater depth, especially in the psychological and spiritual field. Start-ing from an attentive reading of the Hebrew text, we proceed to identify some narrative strategies that allow us to clarify its final message. The research is enriched through the dialogue with various contemporary ex-egetes, to make shine the meaning and the current rel-evance of this story.
