The cassiterite-quartz veins associated with two-mica granites of Ricobayo Batholith and leucogranites of Villaseco Pereruela Complex (Zamora, NW of Iberian Peninsula) have been characterised. The observed paragenesis and genetic conditions of related granitic rocks suggest that cassiterite was precipitated at T > 300 C, P < 2 kb, foz between 10 and 10 b and acid environment (pH between 3 and 5).
