O presente texto estuda o impacto da situação social enfrentada pelo migrante em sua fé cristã. Começa mostrando a importância da cultura local e da própria religião para a construção da identidade social do indivíduo. Em seguida, descreve como o entorno cultural com suas mudanças sucessivas, bem como o contexto religioso pluralista, constitui hoje autênticos desafios já para todos nós. Finalmente examina a situação do migrante cristão na atual sociedade e como ele deve se relacionar com seu entorno pluralista e mutante.Palavras-Chave: Cultura; Religião; Migração; DiálogoIn this text, Miranda studies the impact of the social condition faced by the migrants on their Christian faith. He starts showing the importance of the local culture and of religion itself to buildup the individual social identity. Then, he describes how the cultural scenario, along with its successive changes as well as the pluralist religion context, becomes authentic challenges to all of us. Finally, he looks at the status of Christian migrant in current society and how he must interact with this pluralist and changing context.Keywords: Culture; Religion; Migration; Dialogue
