    From slavery as a historical period of mankind recognizes the start of the wars between humans to enslave and subjugate the other beings of the same species.International Humanitarian Law emerges as a way to temper the barbaric forms that arose in the fray to bring them to amend rules and regulations that savagery. Under the lead of his predecessors and Henry Dunant and Henri Dufour, the latter gave moral support to the fi rst Geneva conference to present in 1864 where it set the stage for multilateral instrument that gave rise to International Humanitarian Law.His justifi cation is related to the implementation rules to avoid armed confl ict intensity confl icts that go beyond the passions of opponents using improper means to mark the same complexity.International Humanitarian Law is a regulator of these wars, it regulates to prevent damage.There are two variants of International Humanitarian Law, such as: the Hague and Geneva. The fi rst seeks to eliminate the means to cause damage. This makes it prone to a humanitarian inspiration and the second, is the gin or contemplates the destruction of existing weapons

    Desde el esclavismo como periodo histórico de la humanidad se reconoce el inicio de las guerras intestinas entre los humanos para esclavizar y someter a los otros seres de su misma especie.  El Derecho Internacional Humanitario surge como una forma de atemperar las formas bárbaras que se daban en las refriegas para ponerles reglas y normas que moldearan ese salvajismo. Bajola iniciativa de sus precursores Henry Dunant y Henri Dufour; Dunant dio apoyo moral a Dufour en la conferencia de Ginebra al presentarla en 1864; fue el inicio de las bases de este instrumento multilateral que dio origen al Derecho Internacional Humanitario. Su justificación tiene que ver con la aplicación normativa a los confl ictos armados para evitar que suintensidad desborde las pasiones de los contrincantes utilizando medios inapropiados que jalonan su complejidad.El Derecho Internacional Humanitario es un regulador de esas guerras, lo reglamenta para evitar daños innecesarios. Existen dos variantes del derecho internacional humanitario como son: el de La Haya y el de Ginebra. El primero procura eliminar los medios para causar daños. Esto lo hace proclive a una inspiración humanitaria y el segundo, contempla la destrucción de las armas ya existentes.
