Resumen de Evaluación del Tronco inter y multidisciplinar (TIM) en Ingeniería en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco, México

En la División de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco, México se creó en 2013 un nuevo tronco de formación integral transversal para el alumnado de Ingeniería denominado tronco inter y multidisciplinar (TIM). A siete años de su creación, se ha llevado a efecto una evaluación en línea a través de un cuestionario con el alumnado de ingeniería que nos permite conocer el nivel de satisfacción y áreas de oportunidad del mismo. En general el alumnado que respondió la encuesta reconoce que las asignaturas que han cursado en el TIM les han sido de utilidad (mucho/bastante) en el desarrollo de habilidades y competencias. Al indagar el alumnado es consciente, que les son útiles para el desarrollo de la capacidad crítica, reflexiva, la ética el respeto por los otros, la equidad de género, el trabajo en equipo y la responsabilidad social.

In the Division of Sciences and Engineering at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco, México, a new integral and transverse training was created in 2013 for engineering students called inter and multidisciplinary core (TIM). Seven years after its creation, an evaluation has been carried out with the engineering student body allowing us to identify the level of satisfaction and areas of improvement. In general, the students who responded to the survey acknowledge that the subjects they have taken in the TIM have been useful (much/very much) in the development of skills and competencies. When inquiring students they have realized that the subjects have been advantageous to enhance their critical and reflective capacity, promoted ethics and respect for others, as well as for gender equity, nurtured teamwork and social responsability.
