Resumen de Ixona, Egileta eta Erentxun-Eko (Araba), keramika piezen apaindura urdinari buruz

  Diversos escritos de Landazuri, del Corregidor de Gipuzkoa, Pedro Cano Mucientes, de Amigos del País, etc., nos hacen pensar que lxona, Erentxun, Egileta y Gastéiz han sido hasta mediados del siglo XIX importantes centros alfareros que han suministrado abundante vajilla a amplias zonas de Euskal Herria. Esto, además, parece confirmarlo el hallazgo de cascotes y piezas enteras de barro por diferentes partes del País, cuya decoración azul sobre esmalte blanco es muy semejante a la empleada en los citados centros alaveses. Todo ello es lo que nos ha animado a plasmar en el presente trabajo 223 dibujos sobre esta decoración, pensando que pueda servir como de primer criterio para discernir la procedencia de materiales cerámicos que vayan apareciendo.

  Landazuri, Gipuzkoako Korregidore zen Pedro Cano Mucientes, Amigos del País direlakoak, eta besteren zenbait idatziren arabera, lxona, Erentxun, Egileta eta Gastéiz, XIX. mendearen erdi inguruarte, buztingintza gune edo zentru guztiz garrantzitsuak izan direla, eta Euskal Herria, keramika ontziteri ugariz, zabal zabalean hornitu zutela uste dugu. Bestalde, Euskal Herrian zehar eta toki ezberdinetan, esmalte zuri gainean urdinez apaindutako buztinezko kaskote eta pieza osoak aurkitzeak, eta apaindura hori Arabako aipatutako tokietan erabiltzen zenaren guztiz antzekoa izateak, gauza bera baieztatzen duela dirudi. Guzti honek, .lan honetan apaindura horretaz 223 irudi aurkeztera bultzatu gaitu, agertuz doazen keramika materialen jatorria bereizteko lehen erizpidetzat baliagarriak izan daitezkelakoan.

  Several writings from Landazuri, from the Corregidor of Gipuzkoa, Pedro Cano Mucientes, from Friends of the Country, etc., make us thinking that lxona, Erentxun, Egileta and Gastéiz have been, until the middle of XIX century, importan! pottery centers, which have provided of plentiful dishes to extensive a reas of Euskal Herria. Furthermore, this seems to be confirmed by the discovery of rubbles and whole pieces of mud around different areas of the Country, whose blue decoration on white enamel, is very similar to that used in the above mentioned centers of Alava. AH that is what have encouraged us to show in the present report, 223 drawings regarding this decoration, in the hope that it may serve as a first criterion to discern the origin of pottery materials which go appearing.
