Tras los últimos pronunciamientos normativos y jurisprudenciales habidos sobre la consideración jurídica del lobo en Castilla y León, el último hito viene de la mano de la reciente Sentencia de 12 de diciembre de 2019, del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Castilla y León, que anula la Resolución de 29 de julio de 2016, de la Dirección General del Medio Natural de la Consejería de Fomento y Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Castilla y León, por la que se aprueba el Plan de aprovechamientos comarcales de lobo en los terrenos cinegéticos situados al norte del río Duero en Castilla y León, para las temporadas 2016/17, 2017/18 y 2018/19, dando carpetazo definitivo a la actividad cinegética del lobo mantenida en los últimos tiempos en la Comunidad, comportando seriamente el futuro de la caza de la especie en Castilla y León. Con el presente comentario jurisprudencial, se intentará arrojar luz a la actual situación jurídica del lobo en Castilla y León.

After the last normative and jurisprudential pronouncements about the legal consideration of the wolf in Castilla y León, the last milestone comes from the recent Judgment of December 12, 2019, of the Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León, which annuls Resolution of July 29, 2016 of the General Directorate of the Natural Environment of the Ministry of Development and Environment of the Junta de Castilla y León, which approves the Plan of regional uses of wolf in the hunting grounds located north of the Duero River in Castilla y León for the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons, giving definitive binder to the hunting activity of the wolf maintained in recent times, seriously behaving the future of hunting the species in Castilla and Leon. With this jurisprudential comment, we try to shed light on the current legal situation of the Iberian wolf in Castilla y León.
