El artículo tiene como tema principal el tratamiento cinematográfico que ha tenido la figura de Goya desde 1927 (fecha del primer largometraje en el que se incluía el personaje de Goya) hasta las últimas películas dedicadas al pintor. El texto recoge, de esta forma, la documentación historiográfica utilizada en los guiones de los filmes. Así mismo, se ha realizado una recopilación de los cortometrajes españoles dedicados al tema hasta el año 1975. (A.)

The following article is about how Goya’s figure has been treated by the international cinematography since 1927 (date of the first movie in which Goya’s character appeared) till the latest films dedicated to the painter. Thus the article gathers together the historiographic documentation used in their scripts. Furthermore, it is made a compilation of the Spanish shorts dedicated to the subject till 1975.
