  Grosso modo, el Trabajo Social es una disciplina abocada al establecimiento de acuerdos entresociedad y Estado. La disciplina se encarga de diseminar las políticas públicas en la ciudadanía y dereportar las necesidades civiles a sus autoridades locales, por ende está más próxima a la gobernanzala cual supone una discusión pública de los asuntos que atañen a los actores políticos y sociales, perocategorías tales como: influencia y poder aportarían al Trabajo Social en su labor mediadora. Se llevóa cabo una revisión de la literatura considerando el periodo de publicación de 1987 a 2016. Se realizóuna selección no probabilística de fuentes indexadas, considerando las dos categorías en comento. Sediscutieron los alcances y limites en torno a la mediación del Trabajo Social.

  Roughly speaking, Social Work is a discipline aimed at establishing agreements between society and the State. The discipline is responsible for disseminating public policies in the citizenry and at the same time is responsible for reporting the needs and expectations of the civil sectors to their local authorities, therefore it is closer to the governance which supposes a public discussion of the issues that Affect the political and social actors, but categories such as: influence and power would contribute to Social Work in its mediating work. A review of the literature was carried out considering the period of publication from 1987 to 2016. A non-probabilistic selection of indexed sources was made, considering the two categories in the comment. The scope and limits around the mediation of Social Work were discussed.
