Resumen de Modelo estructural de concurrencia entre 'bullying' y 'cyberbullying': víctimas, agresores y espectadores

  Este estudio analiza las percepciones de n. = 4.273 estudiantes de secundaria de Aragón (España) sobre el bullying relacional y el cyberbullying desde diferentes perspectivas: víctimas, agresores y espectadores, para explorar la posible concurrencia entre ambos tipos de violencia escolar. Se analizó un modelo estructural entre ambos tipos de violencia, obteniendo un ajuste óptimo. Este modelo desarrollado entre el bullying relacional y el cyberbullying representa un avance significativo al incluir perspectivas no solo del agresor y la víctima, sino también del espectador. Los resultados indican que el acoso tradicional se prolonga en el ciberacoso. Tanto los agresores como las víctimas de bullying están relacionados con ser espectadores de cyberbullying. Sobre el cyberbullying, el espectador puede ser víctima o agresor que copia los dos modelos, derivados de esa observación.

  This study analyses the perceptions of n. = 4,273 high school students in the Spanish region of Aragón about relational bullying and cyberbullying from different perspectives, those of victims, aggressors and bystanders, to explore the possible concurrence between both types of bullying. A structural model of the concurrence between both types of violence was analysed, obtaining an optimal fit. This model of both relational bullying and cyberbullying represents a significant advance by including perspectives not only of aggressors and victims, but also those of bystanders. Results indicate that traditional bullying extends to cyberbullying among those involved:

  Both aggressors and victims of relational bullying are often bystanders of cyberbullying. Regarding the latter, the bystander in this type of violence may tend to be a victim or an aggressor in relational bullying who replicates behaviour he or she has seen before.
