  Convertidos en objetos estéticos desde su entrada en el museo, los musealia compartieron durante doscientos años el desarraigo de su entorno natural en favor de un carácter único otorgado por ese contexto museográfico. Dicho contexto varió según cambiaron las características sociopolíticas y culturales pasando por diversas fases. Con el tiempo esa primera idea universal de la cultura se ha ido desmontando, dando lugar a la multiplicación de imaginarios colectivos. En la actualidad las piezas se inscriben dentro de un proyecto de conocimiento ambicioso y en constante revisión, garantizando la continuidad del discurso en torno al significado documental, artístico o emocional de los objetos, pero también contribuyendo a enriquecer el vocabulario de la práctica museológica

  Once they were transformed into aesthetic objects since their entrance in the museum, the Musealia shared, for two hundred years, the uprooting from their natural environment in favor of the unique character given by the museum context. This context had been changing depending the different sociopolitical and cultural characteristics of the past years, going through several phases. Within time, that first universal idea of the culture has been dismounting, resulting a multiplication of the imaginary collective wich is today. Currently the pieces are inscribed within a project with ambitious knowledge wich is constantly reviewed. Ensuring, by this way, the continuity of the discourse concerning the objects in their documentary, artistic or emotional meaning. The museum practice is also enriched in teh vocabulary
