Resumen de SHINEⓇ: modelo para la transformación de espacios educativos

  A la hora de acometer reformas o transformaciones en un entorno educativo, los Equipos Directivos han de tomar decisiones que conducirán a una importante inversión económica, sin tener a priori evidencias claras sobre el impacto que esta transformación tendrá en sus grupos de interés (alumnos, familias y personal docente y no docente). Las autoras han empleado una metodología de análisis documental, consultado bases de datos de rigor académico y científico y revisado la literatura existente de los últimos 24 años, de lengua española e inglesa, sobre el impacto de espacios educativos en las personas que los usan y sus comportamientos, y ofrecen un modelo-guía de construcción o transformación de espacios escolares pentadimensional, SHINEⓇ, fundamentado teóricamente y que integra de modo holístico aquellas dimensiones que ayudan a alinear esta transformación espacial innovadora con el Proyecto Educativo y el Plan estratégico del Centro: Stimulation; Human Centered; Individualization; Naturalness and Environmentally Friendly. Los resultados se discuten desde la necesidad de promover estos cambios educativos y su evaluación, con el fin de determinar su impacto personal, educativo y social.

  When undertaking reforms or transformations in an educational environment, Headmasters and Management Teams must make decisions that will lead to a significant economic investment, without previously having a clear evidence on the impact that this transformation will have on their stakeholders (students, families, teachers and non-teaching staff). The authors have used a methodology of documentary analysis, consulted databases of academic and scientific rigor and reviewed the existing literature of the last 24 years, in Spanish and English, on the impact of educational spaces on the people who use them and their behaviors. They thus offer a  pentadimensional guide-model for the building or transformation of school spaces, SHINE®, a theoretically based model that holistically integrates those dimensions that help align this innovative spatial transformation with the Educational Project and the Organization Strategic Plan. The dimensions are Stimulation; Human Centered; Individualization; Naturalness and Environmentally Friendly. The results are discussed related to the need to promote these educational changes and their evaluation, in order to determine their personal, educational and social impact.
