  • In January 1951 Queneau published, in "Les Temps modernes", an article theorizing the relationship of philosophers and bad boys to the bourgeois; its second part was never completed. However, unpublished material from the manuscript and the proofs of the first instalment would probably have gone into this second part, and is presented here.
