Resumen de Otro "sueño de la razón": en torno al pensamiento inefable de la música y la pintura

Como pórtico a las diversas contribuciones más concretas que se presentarán en este encuentro científico, esta ponencia quiere ofrecer una mirada ensayística, abierta y general, quizás con más preguntas que respuestas, e intentando así abrir nuevos caminos para futuras investigaciones, o al menos alternativas lecturas para lo que creemos que ya sabemos. Para ello, partiendo de la música que se puede considerar goyesca, por época o por inspiración, con sus correspondientes traducciones o traiciones, se cuestiona lo que la música puede eficazmente expresar, planteando finalmente la posibilidad de un pensamiento transmitido directamente desde la propia obra de arte, musical o plástica, intraducible a palabras pero lleno de sentido.

As a portico to the most concrete contributions that will be presented in this scientific meeting, this paper wants to offer an essay-like, open and general look, perhaps with more questions than answers, and thus trying to open new paths for future research, or at least alternative readings for what we think we already know. For this, starting from the music that can be considered Goyesque, by time or by inspiration, with its corresponding translations or betrayals, it is questioned what music can effectively express, finally raising the possibility of an artistic thought transmitted directly by the work art itself, musical or plastic art, untranslatable to words but full of meaning.
