The geoarchaeological study of a series of fluvial terrace levels and an Ibero-Roman archaeological site in the Middle Vinalopó allows us to know the fluvial dynamics in the Upper Holocene. Processes of aggradation are documented in Post Iberian Period. At the low valley are formed poorly drained sedimentary environments. These are the result of a possible high relative humidity. The process culminated in Ibero-Roman and Roman Period. From the Late Roman period, probably after, there will be a new phase of intense aggradation.
