Television proposes products more and more hybrid and serialized, with an evolution towards a transcultural model, and is transforming into one of more effective instrument of acculturation. This evolution is especially visible in reality shows and quiz-shows, in real TV. But television also operates as a border line:
between reality and imaginary, and institutes a sensible relation — as positive as negative — with reality. This relation, that is ambivalent, fluctuates between an euphoric and a disforic position, between an hyper-visibilization of violence and a publicitation of intimacy, that transgress or reverse codes. Produces one kind of narrative that is a permanent play with representation, between ludic and dramatic, but always hyper-realist.
