Resumen de Hydraulic heritage of the upstream Souss, Morocco: untapped territorial resource

  Esta comunicación propone explorar la noción de patrimonio y precisar su papel como recurso territorial a través del ejemplo del patrimonio hidráulico, que puede ser un vector de desarrollo territorial, sobre todo que en Souss el turismo es poco desarrollado a pesar de la presencia de un potencial patrimonial importante. Más precisamente, a través de la articulación entre patrimonio, turismo y desarrollo territorial, vamos a estudiar la cuestión de saber cómo la valorización turística de los recursos patrimoniales en la región de Souss puede ser concebida y puesta en ejecución. Los resultados de este trabajo muestran, en el caso de Souss anterior, la ausencia de todo proceso de valorización turística del patrimonio hidráulico.   This communication suggests exploring the notion of heritage and specifying its role as territorial resource through the example of the hydraulic heritage, which can be a vector of territorial development, especially that in upstream Souss the tourism is under-developed despite of the presence of an important patrimonial potential. More exactly, through the articulation between heritage, tourism and territorial development, we are going to study the question to know how the tourist valuation of the patrimonial resources in the region of Souss can be designed and implemented. The results of this work show, in the case of upstream Souss, the absence of any process of tourist valuation of the hydraulic heritage. It prefigures a tourist development area with some more of relationships with the territory.
