    Zazpi urte baino gehiago eman ditu Bilbao Ria 2000k Bilbo berri bat sortzeko eta hauek dira Bilbo horren ezaugarririk nagusienak:

    Cuatro podrían ser las características principales del Bilbao imaginado por Bilbao Ria 2000 y en el que trabaja desde hace más de 7 años:

    1. Trabajo conjunto de todas las Administraciones.

    2. Recuperación de la Ria.Ya está casi acabando la recuperación física que está liderando el Consorcio de Aguas y dese BILBAO Ria 2000 hemos empezado con las actuaciones urbanísticas. Al final del proceso, el Bilbao metropolitano se estructurará en torno a una Ria limpia, con nuevos usos y espacios libres y arquitectura de gran calidad.

    3. Uso del transporte ferroviario. Bilbao estará connectado por ferrocarril, ya sea Metro, ferrocarril de cercanias o tranvia.

    4. La calidad de los proyectos ya sean de urbanismo, arquitectura o ingenieria. Aquí lo más espectacular es el apoyo en los arquitectos de prestigio internacional y la calidad de todas las actuaciones.

    There are four principal characteristics of the Bilbao imagined by Bilbao Estuary 2000 and on which it has been working for over 7 years:

    1. Joint work by all the Administrations.

    2. Recovery of the Estuary. The physical recovery directed by the Water Consortium is almost completed, and at Bilbao Estuary 2000 we have started on urban development activities. At the end of the process, metropolitan Bilbao will be structured around a clean estuary, with new customs and free spaces and high quality architecture.

    3. Use of railway transport. Bilbao will be connected by railway, whether this be the Metro, the suburban railway or the tram.

    4. The quality of the projects, whether they be urban development, architecture or engineering. Here the most spectacular aspect is the involvement of architects of international prestige and the quality of all the activities.
