En la Baja Edad Media y el Renacimiento las alfombras de tradición morisca fueron la artesanía típica de Alcaraz, apreciadas por reyes y aristócratas de España y hasta del extranjero. Nueve de ellas figuran entre las propiedades del bachiller Guerrero, origen de uno de los más importantes linajes de Alcaraz. Dos asuntos distintos, pero unidos, que se estudian de manera conjunta en el presente artículo.
In the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance the carpets of Moorish tradition were the typical crafts of Alcaraz, appreciated by kings and aristocrats of Spain and even abroad. Nine of them are among the properties of the bachelor Guerrero, origin of one of the most important lineages of Alcaraz. Two different, but intertwined, issues, that should be studied together in this article.
