    Este artículo presenta la composición y líneas de investigación del grupo consolidado “Cronicidad, Dependencia, Cuidados y Servicios de Salud”, perteneciente al Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Málaga (IBIMA) y al Plan Andaluz de I+D+I (PAIDI). Sus líneas de investigación se centran en la cronicidad desde varios puntos de vista: evaluación y desarrollo de nuevos servicios para la cronicidad y la dependencia, y el estudio de factores que determinan la seguridad clínica de este grupo de población, impacto en salud del rol de cuidador familiar, y el desarrollo de instrumentos de mejora de la efectividad de la atención sanitaria a personas con enfermedad crónica y sus cuidadores familiares. Actualmente el grupo está integrado por 24 miembros. La edad media del grupo es de 42,9 años (DE 9,1), con un 70,8% de mujeres, y un 91,7% de ellos con grado de doctor. La distribución por tipos de entidad se reparte entre investigadores adscritos a la universidad (n= 8; 33,3%), Atención Primaria (n= 5; 20,8%) y Atención Hospitalaria (n= 11; 45,8%). La composición es multidisciplinar, integrando áreas de conocimiento como Enfermería, Fisioterapia, Podología, Medicina, Antropología, Sociología y Biología. Desde 2008 el grupo ha obtenido un total de 978.931 € en financiación de proyectos competitivos, incluyendo la obtención de intensificación para la actividad investigadora y ayudas estructurales a grupos. El grupo acumula en total 547 publicaciones, habiendo publicado 61 artículos en los últimos dos años, con un factor de impacto acumulado de 158,79, siendo un 41% de ellas pertenecientes al primer cuartil y un 23% al primer decil.

    This article presents the structure and research lines of the “Chronicity, Dependence, Health Care and Services” Consolidated Group, belonging to the Institute for Biomedical Research of Málaga (IBIMA) and the Andalusian Plan for Research, Development and Innovation (PAIDI). Its lines of research are focused on chronicity from different points of view: evaluation and development of new services for chronicity and dependence, and the study of factors determining the clinical safety for this population group, impact on the health of the family caregiver, and the development of tools for an improvement in healthcare for persons with chronic conditions and their family caregivers. The group is currently formed by 24 members; their mean age is 42.9 years (SD 9.1); 70.8% of them are women, and 91.7% have a doctorate. The distribution by types of institution is the following: researchers attached to the university (n= 8; 33.3%), Primary Care (n= 5; 20.8%), and Hospital Care (n= 11; 45.8%). There is a multidisciplinary structure, integrating areas of knowledge such as Nursing, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Medicine, Anthropology, Sociology, and Biology. Since 2008, the group has obtained the total sum of 978,931€ in funding for competitive projects, including deepening for research activity and structural aids for groups. In total, there have been 547 publications by the group, with 61 articles in the past two years, and with an accumulated impact factor of 158.79; 41% of these belong to the first quartile and 23% to the first decile.
