  Laura da Silva estudió la Licenciatura de Matemáticas en la Universidad de Almería (UAL). Finalizó sus estudios en 2006, habiendo cursado un año como estudiante Erasmus en la Universidad de Bielefeld (Alemania).

  Posteriormente fue docente e investigadora en el departamento de Arquitectura de Computadores de la UAL y en 2012 pasó a ser docente de matemáticas en el centro educativo SEK Dublín en Irlanda.

  En 2015, empezó a trabajar en Vizor Ltd como desarrolladora de software en C#, estando involucrada en los proyectos FACTA y Business Intelligence. Actualmente trabaja en Londres en la empresa Elastacloud, partner de Microsoft, como científica de datos, compaginando sus dos pasiones: las matemáticas y la informática.

  Laura da Silva studied the Mathematics Degree at the University of Almería (UAL). He completed his studies in 2006, having completed a year as an Erasmus student at the University of Bielefeld (Germany).

  Subsequently, she was a teacher and researcher in the Department of Computer Architecture at the UAL and in 2012 she became a teacher of mathematics at the SEK Dublin educational center in Ireland.

  In 2015, she started working at Vizor Ltd as a C # software developer, being involved in FACTA and Business Intelligence projects. She currently works in London at the company Elastacloud, a Microsoft partner, as a data scientist, combining her two passions: mathematics and computer science.
