Resumen de El apoyo socio-sanitario prestado a los pacientes terminales de cáncer en domicilio y grado de satisfacción de los mismos

  Objetivos: Conocer los tipos de ayudas socio-sanitarias recibidas y grado de satisfacción de las mismas.

  Metodología: Parte de los datos que se presentan es fruto de una investigación cualitativa. Para la recogida de datos se han realizado 12 entrevistas en profundidad dirigidas a los cuidadores principales de pacientes terminales de cáncer en domicilio. Los recursos materiales utilizados fueron una guía de la entrevista y una grabadora. Los dos criterios de selección han sido, el tiempo transcurrido desde el fallecimiento, y pacientes diagnosticados de cáncer cuidados en domicilio.

  Resultados: Ayudas socio-sanitarias recibidas. Todas las personas entrevistadas, dicen tener ayuda sanitaria, bien por parte del médico de cabecera, servicio de urgencias a domicilio o entidad privada. Ninguno de los entrevistados conocían la cobertura social. Respecto a si habían tenido problemas económicos, comentaron no tener problemas. Con respecto a si tenían conocimiento sobre equipos domiciliarios de Cuidados Paliativos (CP), la mayoría de los entrevistados los desconocen. Grado de satisfacción de las ayudas recibidas, califican las ayudas prestadas como de satisfactorias, pero a medida que se fue profundizando aparecieron frases que se contradecían con lo manifestado anteriormente.

  Conclusiones: Los cuidadores principales no son conscientes de necesitar cuidados desde una perspectiva bio-psico-social y espiritual.

  El grado de satisfacción de los cuidadores principales respecto al apoyo sanitario, ha sido de satisfactorio con los mismos.

  Objectives: to be able to know what types of socio-sanitary assistance they have received and their degree of satisfaction.

  Methodology: Some of the data presented are the fruits of a qualitative research. In order to collect the data, twelve deep interviews addressed to principal home nurses of cancer terminal patients have been made.

  The used material resources were the following: a guide for the interviews and a tape recorder. The two aspects considered for selection have been: the time passed from death, and cancer diagnosed patients cared at home .

  Results: Socio-sanitary helps received: all the interviewed people say they have had sanitary help, either by their family doctor, by home first aid, or by private entities. None of the interviewed people know the social coverage. Regarding whether they had had economic problems or not, they recognised not having any. With regard to their knowledge about the home equipment of Palliative Cares (CP), most of them have not been informed about these.

  Conclusions: Degree of satisfaction in respect to the helps received:

  they define these helps as satisfactory, but as the conversation deepened, some contradictory sentences with regard to what was said above appeared.
