    This work focuses on the paper that plays memory and historical self-consciousness in the political action and historiographical writing of the king. The official ideology of his family, the continued reflection on itself, his meaning and his paper in the history of his realms, the inappropriate image that gave castillan historiography of his kingship, are motives to his military enterprises of the king and his composition of the Book of deeds.
