Resumen de El procedimiento de remoción de los consejeros electorales del Instituto de Elecciones y Participación Ciudadana de Chiapas

En este trabajo se estudia el procedimiento de remoción de siete consejeros electorales del Instituto de Elecciones y Participación Ciudadana de Chiapas que llevó a cabo el Consejo General del Instituto Nacional Electoral, en cumplimiento de la sentencia dictada por el Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación en el expediente SUP-RAP-118/2016 y acumulados. Mediante esta, el máximo órgano jurisdiccional modificó la resolución del consejo electoral nacional ─la cual había sido impugnada en el citado recurso de apelación─ al, por una parte, confirmar la determinación de remover del cargo de consejeros electorales a 3 de ellos y, por otra, ordenar a la autoridad responsable que emitiera una nueva resolución en la que removiera del cargo a los 4 restantes, luego de considerar actualizadas las causas que justificaron tales determinaciones

This paper examines the procedure for the removal of the seven Electoral Counselors of the Institute of Elections and Citizen Participation of the State of Chiapas, which was carried out by the General Council of the National Electoral Institute in compliance with the sentence issued by the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation in the file SUP-RAP-118/2016 and accumulated, by means of which it modified the resolution of the aforementioned General Council ─challenged in said appeal resource─ to confirm the determination of remove from the position of three Electoral Counselors and, on the other hand, order the responsible authority, to issue another resolution in which the remaining the other four Electoral Counselors were removed from office, for considering the causes that justified such determinations updated
