Resumen de LXX-Is 26: La "Doxa" com a participació en la vida escatològica

  • The Greek translation of Is 24-27 contains a literary and theological section more hornogeneous than that of the Hebrew one in the MT. In sorne way this is due to the fact that the translator reads a Vorlage which has already suffered the last redactional retouch. The present study pais chief attention to 1s 26 and specially to the role of 665a with the text. Doxa, appears in the great judgment-mornent (24,l- 13; 26,10), in the neutralization of the world powers hostile to God and in the unquestionable God's rule (24,21-23). The Greek text stresses upon the epiphanic and soteriological nuances of Jerusalem Ki close connection with udoxas. The God's rule over the world and over the faithful Jewish cornmunity is refused by the EVOOL, who bear an canti-doxan in the face of KÚLOS. In Is 26 to see 66eav and to see are synonyrnous. Doxa is described as an anti-death power in which shear the righteous and frorn which the unrighteous are shut up after the great judgment-day. In Is 26 the greek translator strongly proclairns the resurrection of the good Jews. Thus doxa* goes in the field of the resurrection teaching with sorne stresses and nuances which can also be read in the intertestamental period and in the New Testament.
