Resumen de Análisis preliminar de las representaciones rupestres presentes en cuatro sitios del Sistema de Ventania, provincia de Buenos Aires

  El objetivo de este trabajo es dar a conocer los resultados preliminares alcanzados en la investigación de las representaciones rupestres presentes en cuatro estructuras rocosas (cuevas y alero) en el Sistema de Ventania, dos de ellas inéditas en la bibliografía arqueológica del área. En base al relevamiento total de las mismas, se efectuó un análisis descriptivo-clasificatorio en función de la categorización en formas y estructuras. Estas configurarian una modalidad estilística geométrica y simple, ya identificada por otros investigadores en sitios pampeanos y regiones vecinas. Su cronología es imprecisa, dado que hasta el momento no se poseen asociaciones contextuales con otro tipo de manifestación cultural.

  The purpose of this article is to present preliminary results of the analisys of four rocks structures(both caves an shelters) located in the Ventania mountain range, whit yield rock paintings. Two of this caves where not publlshed- before. A descriptive- clasiftcatoty analilsys was carried in function of the categotization of forms and structures. Both indicate that the four patntings groups belong the stmple-geometrtcal style, already reported by other authors in Pampean sUes in nelghbouring areas. The cronology of these cultural features remains still uncertain because contextual association whit datable material was not yet identified.
