    Resumen: La naturaleza de la educación supone que el hombre es un ser inacabado e imperfecto, que camina hacia la perfección; una perfección que solo se logra si el hombre se perfecciona en las tres dimensiones: física, intelectual y espiritual. Por eso, la tarea del educador es la de ayudar al ser humano a convertirse en “su mejor versión”. Para dicha tarea, es imprescindible la colaboración de los tres ámbitos educativos: la familia, la escuela, la Iglesia. Y si educar supone perfeccionar al hombre, llevarle a plenitud –suscitando en él la pasión por la verdad, la belleza y el bien– equivale a evangelizarlo. Ambas realidades colaboran al crecimiento completo de la persona y sólo, si caminan al unísono, se pueden formar personalidades maduras y unitarias.

    Education and new evangelization. The nature of education assumes that man is an unfinished and imperfect being, who walks towards perfection; a perfection that is only achieved if man perfects himself in the three dimensions: physical, intellectual and spiritual. Therefore, the educator’s task is to help the human being to become “his best version”. For this task, it is essential the collaboration of the three educational fields: the family, the school, the Church. If the task of education consists in the action of perfecting man, bringing him to fullness - provoking in him the passion for truth, beauty and good - then this means to evangelize of man. Both realities contribute to the full growth of the person and only, if they walk in unison, both realities can contribute to shape mature and integrate personalities.
