Resumen de Soluciones laborales: jubilación activa. El camino hacia un contrato compatible

  La edad legal de la jubilación debe adaptarse a los cambios experimentados por la edad biológica. En este contexto, la aplicación del principio de prolongación de la vida laboral debe llevar aparejado el establecimiento por parte de la legislación de mecanismos que colaboren a que los trabajadores séniores continúen en el mercado laboral, al menos hasta la edad legal de jubilación y, cuando así lo estimen conveniente, más allá de este momento. Figuras como la jubilación activa o flexible deben ser repensadas con el fin de establecer un nuevo marco de trabajo para este colectivo. La apuesta por un nuevo contrato (el contrato compatible) que promocione continuar la vida laboral más allá de la edad legal de jubilación podría ser un elemento fundamental para dar respuesta a esta nueva realidad social.

  Legal retirement age should be adapted to biological one. In this context, the application of principle of prolonging working life means that legislation has to establish mechanisms to facilitate senior workers to remain into the labor market, at least until their legal retirement age, even more when they chose it. Figures such as active or flexible retirement must be rethought in order to establish a new framework. A new contract (a compatibility contract) which promotes the prolongation of labor life could be a fundamental solution to this new social reality.
