Gemma Villanueva Bohigas, Pau Balaguer Huguet, M. Baldo, Joan Josep Fornós Astó, Lluís Gómez Pujol, Guillem Xavier Pons Buades

  • Many marine gastropods contribute to the erosion by grazing the rocky substrate in the search for algal food, removing rock particles, as indicated by the study of their faecal pellets. The present work focuses on the characterisation of total budget due to the bioerosion by gastropods:

Melaraphe neritoides and Monodonta turbinata, from a variety of eight sites with different lithological and geothecnical properties.
