  Trata de dos sectores sociales, la clase obrera también conocida como la “Buena Vista Society”, y la clase burguesa o ‘Main Street Society” y de la afinidad sociocultural de los trabajadores de Gibraltar con los trabajadores españoles en el Peñón, así como de las relaciones intersociales.

  This short article describes the division of Gibraltarian society in the period following the big immigration in the early 1800s, and the sociocultural affinity of the Buena Vista working class with the Spanish workers who came to Gibraltar, and with the middle classes on the Rock – the Main Street Society.
